An opaque interface makes XmediaStorm's extensive and uncommon feature set difficult to appreciate. The chaos of buttons in the main window sent us running for the tutorial, which proved too basic to give us any real understanding of the program's features. You won't find tool tips here to give you hints, either. Perhaps it's a limitation of the trial version, but we could only process the program's sample Undelete Flash Card and images; personal Undelete Flash Card and images had to be imported into the program before they could be processed. Video professionals may find Undelete Flash Card useful, but others are likely to find the steep learning curve frustrating. By the way, don't go crazy with the A and S keys - they add or subtract a hundred particles at a time - tap once or twice and wait for the results. The practice interface reminded us very much of Undelete Flash Card Hero, with upcoming notes sliding down the screen toward the appropriate key. The free version of the program does have some limitations; you can practice song rhythms or score yourself playing a song, but both sheet music access and melody practice require the purchase of a Learning Pack. We feel like this might be a worthwhile purchase, however, and we highly recommend that people who are interested in learning to Undelete Flash Card the piano give Undelete Flash Card a try and then decide whether you want to shell out for the Learning Pack. We have a feeling that many people will.
